Tree with Birds

Here the human disappears, replaced by a multiplicity of birds. The tree becomes a system of observation and vigilance. Each branch functions as a point of view, a site  of attention directed outward. The work proposes nature a multiplicity and dispersion: a field of relations that cannot be unified in a single perspective.

The chromatic transitions across the trunk suggest transformation, as if the tree itself were in flux. The coexistence of species recalls natural history collections, yet without taxonomic order. Difference becomes the organizing principle.
