Koen Theys is part of the group exhibition Figure Phantom, at TICK TACK, Antwerp (BE).
TICK TACK joined forces with Escautville, the renowned Antwerp platform for artist-driven moving images, to present the CINEMA program Figure Phantom, featuring a selection of video works by Frank Theys, Wim Catrysse, Koen Theys, Benjamin Verhoeven, Jos de Gruyter & Harald Thys, and Ria Pacquée.
This collaboration combines TICK TACK's dynamic programming with the rich archive and ongoing productions of Escautville. It offers a curated program that highlights emerging and established voices in contemporary moving image art, exploring the shifting presence of the human figure as a site of power, representation, distortion, and memory.
The exhibition will be on view 1 - 10 April, 2025.
