Announcing the representation of Daan Gielis

Keteleer Gallery is proud to announce the representation of the work of Daan Gielis (1988–2023).

With a visual language both tender and raw—neon smileys, wilting flowers, suspended tears—Gielis gave form to the contradictions of being human. His work, deeply personal yet universally resonant explores vulnerability, longing, impermanence and the desire for connection.

His work has been exhibited at De Garage, Mechelen; Z33, Hasselt; M HKA, Antwerp; M Leuven, Leuven; Holland Festival, Amsterdam, among others, and is part of public collections such as Mu.ZEE, Ostend and M HKA, Antwerp.

We are honoured to share his work and to continue building the legacy of his vital and moving practice.

A first solo exhibition in the gallery is set to open in January 2026.
