Gabriele Beveridge is part of the group exhibition Melting Sands, Glass in Contemporary Art, at Sammlung Philara, Düsseldorf (DE).
To mark the 150th anniversary of the former Lennarz glassworks, the Philara Collection, which has been housed in the converted premises since 2016 (and whose caretaker used to work at the glassworks), presents a comprehensive exhibition on glass in contemporary art. The presentation explores the compatibility of structure and chaos, as well as other contrasts inherent in this versatile material, and focuses on interdisciplinarity, collectivity, and international collaboration – all characteristics of glass and its production.
The exhibition will be on view until 25 January, 2026.
