In the duo exhibition Lisa Konno Paul Kooiker, Museum Kranenburgh (Bergen, NL) brings together the work of Lisa Konno and Paul Kooiker in a total installation that invites critical reflection on fashion and identity.
Konno and Kooiker both possess a unique, recognizable signature and work interdisciplinarily in the worlds of fashion, photography, visual arts, installation, and performance. In this exhibition, the artists each present their own autonomous project that was originally part of a performance and has not previously been shown in a museum. Their objects and images engage in a dialogue with each other and with the public about the power and force of fashion and its influence on the formation of identity. The exhibition invites reflection on identity, without seeking to provide definitive answers.
