KETELEER GALLERY is very proud to announce the representation of the English painter Jon Pilkington. A first solo exhibition will take place in the beginning of 2020.
Pilkington plays with the expectations that paintings allude to historically and wants to question the role of current image making.His paintings are decisively colourful, dense and intricate: layers on layers and shapes on shapes in unfinished rough brushstrokes give the works an almost illegible perspective.
