Patrick Van Caeckenbergh is part of Harvests, a group exhibition at Fondation Vincent Van Gogh Arles (FR).
The Fondation Vincent van Gogh Arles will dedicate its next exhibition to the imaginary museums of artists – in other words, the mental or material resources that they surround themselves with, that inspire them in their creative process, and that they sometimes channel into art.
This project, which is inspired by a concept introduced by André Malraux in his celebrated eponymous work, is also informed by the significant collection of books, and, above all, images – more than five thousand items, including clippings, prints, engravings, and paintings – assembled by Vincent van Gogh as a way of reflecting on his art and developing it along with his thinking. Part of this collection will be presented within the exhibition, in an installation designed by Kevin Osepa, an artist from Curaçao in the Dutch Caribbean.
The exhibition will be on view 22 November 2026 - 4 April 2027.
