For Art Cologne 2020, KETELEER GALLERY is very pleased to introduce a group exhibition consisting of 9 artists.
The combination of these artists represents the show’s main focus: the introduction of the new collaboration with Deweer Gallery. The show will present works by Stephan Balkenhol, Marc Bauer, Imi Knoebel, John Kørner, Bjarne Melgaard, Luca Monterastelli, Nasan Tur, Anna Vogel and Lois Weinberger.
December 2019, KETELEER GALLERY took over the main representation of all of Deweer Gallery’s active artists and the Deweer Gallery estate, consisting of the entire Deweer Gallery collection. Out of a sincere admiration and respect for Deweer’s family, history and name in both Belgium and abroad, all this will operate as a close partnership with Gerald and Bart Deweer, who will stay active as key liaisons and advisors, honouring the close ties that were built with artists and collectors over the years. Our aim is to strenthen and broaden the existing ties, with an open mind, opening up new possibilities while ensuring the continuation of the important positions of artists that were represented by Deweer Gallery in Belgium. The artists represented in this exhibition are a blend of nationaliteies, symbolising the gallery’s new, even more international aspirations.
