Anna Vogel photographed fossils of Trilobites, a group of extinct marine arthropods that form the class Trilobita and that are at least 250 million years old. Trilobites refer to the beginning of human evolution, the beginning of life. With Photoshop, the artist changed the background that surrounds the Trilobite in one equal colour. On the photograph the artist added by hand and using a template patterns of black lines that follow more or less the pattern of the stone containing the embedded fossil.
