In ths sculpture, animals from different ecosystems coexist in a compressed, impossible environment. The tree becomes a stage for hybrid ecology in which natural categories dissolve.
At the centre, the octopus introduces a radical displacement--the intrusion of the marine into the terrestrial. The work evokes cabinets of curiosity, where accumulation produces both knolcedge and estrangement.
Naure appears here as constructed, assembled through perception and imagination rather than given as stable order.
