Guillaume Bijl and Guy Van Bossche at M HKA, Antwerp (BE)

Guillaume Bijl and Guy Van Bossche's works are part of S & W & ... a group exhibition at the INBOX space at M HKA, Antwerp (BE).

 

Suske & Wiske speak to the collective imagination. Just as their creator, Willy Vandersteen, was inspired by visual artists, artists from various generations have been consciously or unconsciously shaped by Vandersteen’s universe. On the occasion of 80 years of Suske & Wiske, M HKA presents an intimate INBOX exhibition that places the iconic Suske & Wiske albums in dialogue with works by contemporary artists.

 

Featuring works by Willy Vandersteen, Fred Bervoets, Guillaume Bijl, Elen Braga, Adrien Tirtiaux, Dennis Tyfus, Guy Van Bossche, Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven, and Walter Swennen.

 

S & W &… was curated by comic enthusiast and producer Lode Geens and art historian Johan Pas, in collaboration with Standaard Uitgeverij.

 

The exhibition will be on view 28 November, 2025 - 11 January, 2026.
